I’m writing a bit about this as well and it’s interesting to see how our development and uses of plastics have evolved, but also how cheap they are because we don’t plan on reusing or disposing properly. Imagine if a company had to deal with all the trash they produce? They’d come up with something sustainable fast.
Sorry for the delay responding. Yes, I think that it would really change the conversation if people who created waste were responsible for it, instead of pushing that responsibility onto us.
