I was just talking about ‘can vs should’ with a colleague today! I wasn’t thinking about it directly in terms of risk at the time, I was going straight to the bad outcomes of the not asking the ‘should’. Now I am thinking about it, the risk seemed innate. Which is perhaps another aspect of the complexity within the risk domain, is that we may take for granted any risk because it seems innate, and not mention what the risk(s) may actually be that lead to the bad outcomes. So talking about the risks can mitagate the outcomes before they end up the bad ones. Thank you! You have both spurred me to learn! I would love to learn more and take the course, but it falls on the busiest time of work for me at the moment. I have Dr Sandmans book on my list of must reads, and Melanie, I learn in leaps and bounds with a lot of your Turnstone stories, I am super grateful! Thank you! I hope the course goes well.
